I really do have to admit, at first when I saw these sets, I thought what the heck am I gonna do with them. Then I started to see all the creative ideas from my fellow demonstrators. So, I caved. Yep, I caved in a big way – bought the stamps and the punches. Just to make one card – THIS card. Crumb Cake and Night Quite Navy are my absolute new favorite color combination. Again, it was one of those, there is no way these colors are going to do anything for me; until I saw them together in person. Now, I can’t stop putting them together. Okay, back to the card. This card is perfect for just about any occasion – which is why I love SU! and how the create our stamps.
I just love this card – so glad I found the idea from a fellow demonstrator named Mary! That’s one of the best parts of being in the Stampin’ Up! family. When the mojo just isn’t there, which quite frankly – I’ve had a super hard time finding it; I can turn to another demonstrator for inspiration.
We made this card at our Graham class on Sunday. Wishes Your Way is a set of all occasions greetings. The gals used the birthday, thinking of you, or the encouragement phrase. This was also one of the cards some of the gals created for Operation Write Home. Bet you are wondering how we made the pin wheels aren’t you? We used the fabulous new pin wheel die out of the spring catalog!
I just love, love, love the Oh, Whale. This was a super fun hearts candy box cover we created out our Graham class on Saturday. When you pull the ribbon our box of hearts comes out. This is the perfect Valentine of boy or girls, kids or adults. I had to had a little bling with a rhinestone. I think it adds just a bit more too it. I’ve got to get busy, I need to make 20 of these for Jackie to give out at her Job’s Daughters meeting. Oh gosh, we still need to make Valentine’s for her class, her Girl Scout troop, and Wynter’s cheer team. I guess, I better get on that!
I’m excited to share my love of paper-crafting for a cause that is very close to my heart. At our Graham class we will begin to create an additional card to be donate to Operation Write Home (OWH). OWH provides handmade greeting cards to our military serving overseas to send home to loved ones. This non-profit is important to me on many levels and even more so now. Please consider being a part of this cause and whether you join us monthly on your own.
I just think Cross My Heart is the cutest dang set ever! It’s great for kids, adults, word lovers, non-word lovers, word search lovers – A-N-Y-O-N-E!
Here is another card we created at our Lakewood stamp camp. What is great about this card is how easy it is to mass produce and a great way to introduce new stampers to several different products and techniques at one time without overwhelming them. Let see, we did two step stamping, using a boarder punch, a regular punch, using markers on stamps, and huffing. The comment made to me after I sat with a first time gal was, “Wow I really can stamp!”
