Congratulations First Frost

Congratulations First Frost

Sometimes we need a little card to say congratulations to a friend.  I’ve used First Frost again to make this clean and simple congratulations card.  I’ve really come to appreciate the simplicity and how easy it is to make a card using our quality notecards

The last few weeks have been full of emotion.  I’ve spent the most of September pushing harder than I’ve ever pushed before to reach the goal of Silver Elite.  It was a time full of ups and downs – tears and laughter – but mostly pure determination.  I had been so close before and always just missed it.  This time I wasn’t going to miss the opportunity.

I need to publicly thank several people who helped me along the way this month.

I have to first say thank you to my amazing husband.  He knew how had I wanted to earn my promotion and worked my business right beside me.  There is no way I could have done this without his support.  He has always been my biggest supporter and the best partner a girl can have.

My family – my kids, my mom, my sister – thank you for helping me with my classes, preparing orders, ordering and joining my team.  Your love and support helps to keep me going.

My customers who I choose to call family – thank you for hearing my call for help and stepping up to help me reach my goal. I certainly could not have reached my goal without your support!  You reach deep – and you provided.  THANK YOU!

To my team – WOW – you ladies are amazing!  You stretched yourselves to ensure you that you met your goals and to support me in my goals.  You are really truly amazing and I am so glad to have you as a Blessed Stamper.

My Stampin’ Up! friends  – Christine, Monica, Tanya:  You have been the ones to send me notes, texts, phone calls, and kept me focused on my goals.  When I felt discouraged – you reminded me that I could and I would do it.  Thank you for being my sisters.

My Business Advisor Felecia:  I was blessed with an amazing opportunity to work with you.  Thank you for helping break my goals down – keeping me focused on each step.  But, mostly for being the cheerleader I needed!

I am excited to head off to Orlando in November to participate in our 30th convention called OnStage and to be able to attend Centre Stage which will be held at Epcot Center!  I am excited to learn from some amazing leaders.  I want to continue to grow and share what I have learned with my customers and team.

Thank you again for all the love and support that you have given me and will continue to give me!

Wishing You the Best First Frost

Wishing You the Best First Frost

I have to admit that I wasn’t the biggest fan of the First Frost stamp set when I first laid my hands on the amazing 2018 Holiday Catalog. After I was able to sit down and play with the stamps, dies and paper – it

I recently attend a Crafty Retreat with several members of our larger group the Fun n’ Crafty Stampers.  What fun, we had!  But, I have to tell you what happens at Crafty Escape Weekend stays at Crafty Escape Weekend 🙂  What I can tell you

Simple Dashing Deer

Simple Dashing Deer

I can’t believe Christmas is just around the corner – which mean it’s time to get going on those Christmas cards.  I’ve added three Christmas only classes to my calendar – so make sure to take a look and add them to your calendar!  One of the cards we will be making at Tuesdays class is this simple but elegant Dashing Deer card.  My favorite parts of this card is the piece of Swirls and Curls Textured Embossing Folder and the Berry Burst Metallic Ribbon.  I also used the Champagne Foil for the little bit of sparkle.

I’m also still working hard to reach my goal of promoting to Silver Elite.  I am still asking for your support with orders and joining my team.  I have faith that I will be able to reach my goal by September 30th with the help of my family, customer and friends.

I have plenty more to share over the next week.  I spent some time at a crafty weekend and spent lots of time crafting and creating some projects to share in class over the next few weeks.

A little Southern Serenade

This set has quickly become a favorite stamp set of mine.  Most of my stampers know that I am not a lover of flower images.  I’ve used this layout before by adding a simple sentiment to the card.  This time, I just did a simple

Nothing Sweeter than Christmas

Nothing Sweeter than Christmas

When I receive the 2018 Holiday Catalog – weeks ago (that’s a perk of being a Demonstrator!!!!) I fell in love with the suite Nothing Sweeter.  To be honest, it isn’t my first choice for a Christmas card – but it is my first choice

Fall Hello

Fall Hello

Last year, I was asked to present at our OnStage Local event held in Sheveport (it’s Stampin’ Up! Convention held in a regional city) using the Colorful Seasons stamp set and Seasonal Layers Thinlits.  I wasn’t too fond of the set.  Maybe it was the pressure of creating projects to present in front of 500 of the most talented people you can think of.

I felt like I needed a nice fall card to send out as needed over the next few weeks.  So I created a clean and simple card using the Colorful Seasons suite.  I cut a 1 x 4 1/4 piece of Early Espresso and layered a 1/4 inch piece of Cajun Craze underneath.  I used a circle from the layering circle framelits us the Country Lane DSP.  To finish out the card, I just stamped the veined leaf in Early Espresso on Early Espresso paper and die cut it and then cut the delicate leaf with Cajun Craze.  I tied a cute little bow with the braided linen trim to finish it off.  I have to just say the Braided Linen trim is to die for!  You’ve got to stock up!!!

CARD 1

Update on my goal:  I’m now only $258.02 away from my sales goal and two team members away!  I’m telling you the excitement in reaching Silver Elite promotion is incredibly exciting and I an on pins and needles with the hopes of reaching it by September 30th!

Never been so close!

Never been so close!

September is beginning to be an exciting month for me!  I’ve never been so close to reaching a goal before.  I am so close, I can hardly sit still.  There is still work to do and I can’t do it alone!  I need your help.
