Vintage Leaves

Back in August, I participated in a Shoe Box swap at our Northwest Stamp and Share event.  A shoe box swap is a super fun event where you will make several different cards from different designers.  I’ll share at a later date more details on

Candy Cane Christmas

Candy Cane Christmas

I’m really trying to make Christmas cards this year prior to December 24th.  Don’t laugh – I know you are thinking the exact same thing – yeah right – never going to happen.  This is a super cute, simple, easy to mass produce for Christmas.

I was pretty unsure about this set at first.  I saw lots of cute cards using the hydgrania framelit from the set.  Turning them into flowers, pumpkins, coaches – just so many cute idea.  I just didn’t think the set was me and for that matter

To be perfectly honest with you, I struggle to use any card base that is not Whisper White or Very Vanilla.  I am not sure why.  I just love this card.  Seems so clean and simple – yet makes a bold impact.   Fun tips

Christmas Glamping

Christmas Glamping

Back in August, I attend a Northwest Stamp and Share event for Demonstrators.  It was a great weekend networking with my fellow demonstrators, making new friends, creating fun new projects, laughing away, Ken going to lunch with the girls, swapping cards, and learning fun new techniques and business tips.

On Friday night we had a Winter Wonderland Pre-Party where we held a showbox swap and shared a Christmas card and/or anything but a card.  For the last few months, I’ve really been tossing the idea around of getting a travel trailer.  I want to hit the open road to see the sites but most of all see my 9.5 grandkids – the .5 will be here in December!

I think that if I had a travel trailer I’d be one of those who would hand Edison lights off the canopy or from the trailer to a tree.  I would just want something fun to sit out under to watch the stars, laugh with my grandkids and to make incredible family memories.

I created this cute little vintage travel trailer with Christmas lights for my anything but a card entry.  I keep it out on my desk – it just makes me happy.  Looking at it reminds me of why I work my business so hard and why I am so thankful for all of you who have put your faith into me as your demonstrator.

Our September Cards and Coffee events were the first of their kind.  Not really sure what to expect or how it would work meeting at local Starbucks.  I needed to create a card that was easy to assemble away from the Inky Fingers Stamping Studio.

Over the next few days, I’ll be sharing with you the six different projects we made at the Cards and Chocolate and Cards and Coffee events through the Pierce County Papercrafters meetups.  This was the first month with these new events.  I’m working on the October event projects now.   We’ve got some super cute projects coming up!

Today I’d like to share with you the Spooky Treat Bag we made at the Cards and Chocolate events held at the Inky Fingers Studio.  I first made this bag at the Northwest Stamp and Share event.  It was such a cute project I had to share it with you too!  I know my grand kids are going to love getting their Halloween treats in these bags.

Fun tips about this treat bag:

  • Roll the top down first to see where to adhere the banners
  • Place all three pumpkin faces on a clear block and stamp them at one time alternating direction and placement as you like on the Pumpkin Pie banner
