12 Days of Christmas – Day 11

Today highlights another Christmas card that was made at my fall retreat. Everyone was amazed at how easy it was to use the patchwork die and loved that they were able to make two cards!

  1. Die cut the patchwork twice, once out of DSP and again out of Night of Navy. Using the Night of Navy frame, place the pieces, alternating between the cardstock and DSP as shown. Glue the pieces to the Very Vanilla base. Remove the frame and glue the completed patchwork to the Gold foil mat. Adhere the piece to the front using Dimensionals.
  2. Stamp the sentiment at the bottom of the card base using Night of Navy ink.
  3. Emboss and die cut (at the same time) the largest star from gold foil. Die cut the skinny star from Night of Navy cardstock. Adhere the skinny star to the gold foil star using glue. Adhere the gold foil star to the patchwork using Dimensionals.
  4. Add a star trinket to the skinny star.
  5. Adhere the Very Vanilla insert to the Night of Navy and add the DSP strip. Glue that inside the card.
