Woven Thread Happy Birthday

It’s time to get caught up on making birthday cards! I spent some time creating a few sets on “one sheet wonder” cards today using the Woven Thread Designer Series Paper which is retiring on June 2, 2020. You can see all of the retiring products here. I have never really made one sheet wonder cards before. I know right, after 17 years of being a demonstrator, I’m finally jumping on the band wagon!

Sorry for the lighting – I am having some photography issues, I need to get worked out. The DSP is cut down to a 6″ x 6″ square and then cut to specific measurements from there. I’ll work on a tutorial for you soon. I used Terracotta Tile, Whisper White and Seaside Spray card stock. I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Here’s A Card stamp set in Terracotta Tile and punched it and framed it in Seaside Spray with the Tailored Tags punch. I also used Whisper White Bakers Tine and Linen Thread on each block.

I’ve mentioned a few times about trying to use supplies that I have been hoarding or supplies that will be retiring. One Sheet Wonders are a great way to use DSP and all the scraps you have laying around!
