Petal Pink Tulips

Sale-A-Bration 2020 has ended, yet I still has unfinished projects from Sale-A-Bration 2019! Last year I made a card and had went ahead and cut for additional cards (like I usual do!). Well, they just sat in my box of card kits. In an effort to complete some projects and use the supplies that I have (including lots of retired supplies!), I finally pulled the kits out and put them together.

This is the card from Sale-A-Bration 2019 using Petal Pink and the Lasting Lily stamp set.

One of the reasons, I pulled these kits out was to create a sympathy card for a dear friend over 30 years who said goodbye to her mom. I wanted to create a card that was happy, cheerful and peaceful.

These are the 2020 version of the card:

I was able to create about 24 cards. A few Mother’s Day, Sympathy, and Birthday cards. I used Whisper White and Petal Pink card stock, Petal Pink and Mint Macaroon ink. The DSP and ribbon are retired 🙂 The tulips are from the Timeless Tulips stamp set.

One thing that I have learned during our Stay at Home order is that it’s okay to use up retired supplies – stop hoarding them! My friends and family will be just as happy to have a hand made card with supplies that I have had for well we won’t say how long on some of them. So go ahead and use the supplies you have and make room for the new supplies!
