I’ve got another card for you today using the Trusty Toolbox Designer Series Paper that perfectly coordinates with the Trusty Tools Bundle. You can see Monday’s card HERE.

This card is very quick and easy to make for all the male figures in your life! I don’t know that this card is super specific to Father’s Day. It can totally be a birthday or thank you card based on the sentiment. The sentiment is actually one stamp. So I very carefully inked “you’re the most” in Crushed Curry Ink and “awesome” in Poppy Parade Ink. Before stamping it, give it a few huffs (breaths) to make sure the ink is fresh. I die cut the hammer out directly from a scrap of the tool print paper.

• 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ Crushed Curry Cardstock (folded in half to make card base)
• 3″ x 4-1/4″ Crushed Curry Cardstock
• 3-1/8″ x 4-3/8″ Poppy Parade Cardstock
• Scraps of Poppy Parade (to die cut letters)
• Scrap of Basic White (die cut Stylish Shapes banner)

The Flight and & Airy Designer Series Paper is pretty dang amazing! My youngest is a bird watcher and this paper makes me think of her, every time I look at it. It’s also a very simple paper to fussy cut – which is a good thing! If you didn’t get a chance to see the cards spotlighted earlier in the week you can go back and see MONDAY and WEDNESDAY.

I fussy cut two birds and layered around the center of the circle. I also used a pencil to outline the shape of the circle on the blue water color washed side of the DSP to know how and where to stamp. The sentiment is actually a single line. I used a sticky note to cover the second half of the sentiment when I inked the first half. I stamped the first half and then repeated the process for the second half of the sentiment.
