Sometimes, you just need to simplify your life. Sometimes you just need to make something – even of it is super some and a CASE from the catalog. Life has been crazy the last few months. You know that saying, God isn’t going to give you more than you can handle? Well, I’m about to chat with my Savior about sharing some of the storm with others. So, I CASE’d this card right out of the Holiday catalog (page 28 to be exact). I didn’t do the watercoloring or add the Baker’s twine. I did however emboss the sentiment with the super fabulous Cooper Embossing powder. Sometimes you just need to clear your mind, and recreate. It’s really okay – it will open the creative mind back up.

Fall is in the air. Time to start baking treats to share with family, friends and co-workers. It’s also a time I reflect on all the people who have given so much to me. Well, now that I have typed that it seems aweful. I am grateful year round, I promise. I think we all get so busy during the spring and summer that we tend to not think about all the blessings people have brought into our lives.

Earlier I talked about a show box swap I participated in back in August at the Northwest Stamp and Share event. To be honest, I was pretty limited on what holiday catalog products I had – which was zero. So I needed to make a “WOW” card using product out of the annual catalog. I knew most people were going to make Christmas cards or “girl” cards. I wanted something different. So I created this card with the help of my Ken. You can thank him for the awesome Salmon 🙂
