Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper – My Friend
Hi Friends! I hope that you have had a great week so far. This week, I have been showing you cards using the Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper (DSP) a “Level 2” ($100) Sale-A-Bration (SAB) item. This is one of my most favorite packs of paper yet!! I’ve used it on so many projects so far.
This card is being sent off to a dear sweet friends “hooo” loves owls and green! I started off with a standard Thick Basic White card base. (TIP – I use tend to use Think Basic White Cardstock if I mailing the card). I used a Granny Apple Green mat sized 4″ x 5 1/4″. For the panels – I cut two pieces at 3/4″ x 5 1/8″ and one piece at 2 1/8″ x 5 1/8″. I placed them onto the Granny Apple Green mat first with out adhering them down to get the general spacing first. I adhered the two smaller strips first – one on the left and one on the right. Then I adhered the center piece. I cut the fancy tag out in Granny Apple Green from the Something Fancy Dies and stamped My Friend tone on tone with Granny Apple Green across the tag. I tied a piece of Fresh Freesia Open Weave Ribbon in a bow and attached it to the top of the tag. Adhere the tag with Dimensional. I used a scrap piece of Basic White to stamp My Friend and the Owl in Memento Ink and colored the Owl with Crumb Cake and Bermuda Bay Blends – I love his blueish-greenish eyes! Fussy cut the owl out and cut My Friend in a strip and used Dimensional to adhere to the card.
