Geared Up Garage

I mentioned in a previous post that I was challenged b a regular class attendee to have some masculine cards for class. This was the second card that we made for our March card classes.

We started with a Read Read base stamped the gas can from Geared Up Garage stamp set in Real Red. You could also stamp the background gas cans in Versamark ink. I cut a piece of Gray Granite and embossed it with the Brick and Mortar 3D Embossing Folder. To give it that textured look I just inked the embossing folder with Sahara Sand ink. I stamped the muscle car in Black Momento Ink on a scrap piece of Smoky Slate cardstock before die cutting it out with the Garage Gears dies. I also cut a Basic Black circle using the Stitched Shapes dies. I then added a piece of 3/8″ Glittered Organdy Ribbon and a few Red Rhinestones – just to give it some bling. Sorry the picture isn’t the best, I’ll work on getting a clearer picture for you to show the detail better 🙂
