Mosaic Mood Hello Beautiful

Sometimes you find yourself with an abundance of Designer Series Paper for one reason or another. That is exactly where I have found myself with the Mosaic Mood Specialty Designer Series Paper. I’ve got three packages of this paper – that has not even been opened. So, that set me to a challenge to use it up! This paper really is beautiful. It’s textured and shinny! I just didn’t know how to use it.

I started with a Soft Suede cardbase and layered a piece of Crushed Curry with the Mosaic 3D Embossing Folder. I cut a strip of the Mosaic Mood Specialty Designer Series Paper the same width as the Crushed Curry. I cut a circle from the Stitched Shapes using Soft Suede and another one from Whisper White and stamped the sentiment Hello Beautiful in Soft Suede from the Butterfly Gala stamp set. I fussy cut the butterfly from another piece of the Mosaic Mood Specialty Designer Series Paper. The only layer I used dimensionals on was the butterfly.

Here is a fun little tip – add a piece of Whisper White or Very Vanilla cardstock on the inside of the card to write you message on. I had lots of little strips of paper left when I cut the wider strips from the Mosaic Mood Specialty Designer Series Paper. I used them to help decorate the inside of the card – something I don’t do nearly enough!
