I have several folks that are going to be getting a gift card this holiday season. I didn’t really need Christmas gift packaging – but more winter packaging. Directions: 1. Adhere the Snowflake Magic DSP base to the Lost Lagoon card stock base.2. Score the …
Wow, I can’t believe we are on Day 8 of the 12 Days of Christmas. Today’s card is one of the make-n-takes we created at my October craft retreat which focused on the Stars at Night bundle. Start with a Night of Navy Cardstock card …
I have to admit – vellum is something I don’t use often and I am often times a bit intimidated by it. I received this card as a swap and thought I would share it with you because of the great use of vellum! The creater used the embossing folder to ad texture and adhered it to the card front. Vellum is a great way to soften the look of “dark” cardstock or “busy” DSP.

Attendees who attend my craft retreats get a “pillow gift” or daily attendance gift left at their seats each morning. At my October 2023 retreat we did a Christmas theme. I try to create a tag or packaging show additional ways to use the stamps …
What I love about today’s card is all of the texture! This card is really simple to make – textured cardstock, die cuts, embellishments, DSP – but no stamping! That’s right, there is no stamping on this card. Now, that’s not to say you can’t stamp a Christmas sentiment on the inside.

I have a fun card for you today! I don’t really know what you would call it. It’s not really a fun fold but it’s certainly not a standard card either. I started with a piece of Balmy Blue Cardstock cut to 11″ x 3-1/2″ …
Friday I went to visit the Assisted Living Center for our monthly card class. We made two Christmas cards. The cards that I create are cards that can be done by my avid crafters who attend or those with cognitive deficits. All of the cards …
Nothing like making a decision last minute. But I do hope that my decision is a fun one for you. I have never done a 12 days of Christmas and I thought – why not this year! So here we are with Day 1 of my 12 days of Christmas.
I thought that today we would start with something a little sweet!
These fun wrappers are a quick and easy way to spread a bit of holiday cheer. Measurements for this project are pretty simple too! Take a piece of colored cardstock or even a piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) and cut it to the length of the candy bar. Then wrap it around the candy bar for form a “belly band”. Make sure that you leave just enough room for the band to slide on and off.
For this belly band, I cut a mat that was about a 1/4″ smaller than the band front. I created my own DSP by stamping images from the Joy of Noelstamp set and Christmas Classics stamp set. I also colored a few images in just to add some interest. I die cut a banner from the Christmas Classics dies and stamped the sentiment onto it. Of course you need some bling – so I added a bit or ribbon and a few gems.
Don’t forget that this isn’t just a Christmas project! You can do these little treats for birthdays, Easter, Halloween, or to send a bit of cheer. I’d love to see what you come up with for your own sweet treats. Feel free to share your ideas on my Facebook page.

The residents from the Assisted Living Center that I visit monthly requested a Masculine style birthday card. We created this simple birthday card that can be mass produced with any supplies you have on hand or stepped up for avid crafters. If I was stepping …
