2017 – 2018: Sneak Peak: Color Theory

I wanted to share a few more photos of some of the display samples I created using the Color Theory suite.  I just can’t say enough about the Stampin’ Up! Staff, other Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators and my team who lifted me up when I needed it the most for my presentation!  What a blessing they are.

Color Theory really does offer something for everyone.  From the two step imagery,  edgelits, intricate thinlits, bold sentiments.  I can see how easily this is going to be my new favorite.

2017 – 2018 Sneak Peak: Color Theory

You may have remembered me posting about a top secret box that I got full of goodies for OnStage Local in Shreveport.  For the past few weeks I was creating projects to share live OnStage.  It’s finally time that I  can share this projects with you!  I’ll post a few a day over the next few days.

I was asked to present a brand new suite called Color Theory.  You will be able to find it on page 146 and 147 of the 2017 – 2018 Annual Catalog.  This suite is so versatile!  It contains imagery for all four seasons.  This suite is perfect for beginning to experienced crafters.

You’ll be able to purchase these products beginning June 1st when the 2017 – 2018 catalog goes live.

OnStage Girls Weekend

I’ve been away the past week spending time with family and attending OnStage Local.  It was such an amazing experience to spend time with my Tribe.  Three of them travel from Washington to join me in Shreveport!  It was so amazing to have them along with two Texas team members for an amazing girls weekend.

Over the next few days, I’ll share photos of samples from the brand new 2017-2018 Annual Catalog that begins on June 1st.

I was asked to present a new product suite – I can’t show you my pictures yet – but let’s just say how humbling it was to share the stage with some AMAZING presenters!  When I grow up I want to be just like them!

Here’s a few pictures of the last few days – promise more to come with the gag order is lifted 🙂

I also got to do some shopping at my favorite store Tyler Consignment Warehouse.  My poor Prince gave me explicit instructions to stay out of the store – but there was just NO way I could do that!  I did pick him up some goodies while I was there 🙂  I got to eat at some of my favorite places too.  Let’s me honest sometimes trips are more about the food.

OnStage · Swaps

OnStage Swap

One of the best parts about OnStage – or any Stampin’ Up! event for that matter is the swaps!  This year, I choose to do something a little different.  I decided to join in on several organized full  card swaps.  This means that I will make a select number of cards in one style and trade them with a group.  An example is there are 10 gals in one of my groups, so I will get 9 full cards to share with you!  I am participating in three groups and two shoebox swaps (I’ll share more on those later).

Here’s a little card I made with the One Wild Ride set.  Did you know that as a Demonstrator who reaches One Million in career sales gets to design a stamp set?  That is the case of One Wild Ride which was designed by Dawn Griffin.

2017 Sale-A-Bration

Avant Garden

We have just two weeks left of Sale-A-Bration.  I’ll be the first to admit, I did not like this set at all when I saw it.  I thought the flowers were just ugly.  However, I went a head and got the Avant Garden set because I mean who doesn’t love a free set!   A few weeks ago, we had our monthly team Facebook pajama party.  One of our challenges during the event was to create a card with a stamp set you have never used.  Well guess what that meant, I had to touch them ugly flowers.

Well, I did.  I created this card which actually was a big hit at our monthly Simply Beautiful Card  Class.

Blessed Stampers

Blessed Stampers

It has been weighing on my heart to create a team name for my team of stampers.  It was something that I have been thinking about and even had team materials printed with Inky Fingers Stamping.

I felt like, I needed to take my business in a new positive direction.  I needed to have my team separate from my business.  I know that sounds really bad when you read that.  But let me try to explain a little better.  Inky Fingers Stamping is my personal brand – its who I am.  I am constantly stamping with inky fingers.

I wanted my team to have an identity of their own.   I am forever grateful for those who want to join me on this journey as a hobbyist (taking advantage of the amazing discount for themselves) or as a business owner.  I have been all over this amazing journey and know what a blessing this journey is.

Which is why I choose the name I did – Blessed Stampers.  I have been incredibly blessed with some pretty fabulous women who have invited me into their lives.  They love me as broken as I am, support me with all of my crazy ideas, cheer for me when I am about to do something utterly amazing – but most of all these women are my tribe.  And for that …

I know they are going to read this post and to them, I say thank you.  Thank you for inspiring me to bless my team, my customers, my family, my neighbors as you have blessed me.  Because of you I am a Blessed Stamper.

Super Duper Top Secret!

OnStage Box

I’ve kept a secret for a few weeks, really I needed time to process it all.  I was called by Andrea Winters from the Stampin’ Up! home office asking me to be a product spotlight presenter at OnStage Local in Shreveport.  I was in a state of shock when I heard the voice mail and it took me about 45 minutes to contain myself before calling Andrea back.

A few days later I received this box filled with complete goodness!  During OnStage I will do a presentation on a brand new product suite.  I have spend the last week working on display samples and information to share with those in attendance.  I’m super nervous!  This is such a big honor, I don’t want to screw this up!

I wish I could share with you the inside of this box or the projects I am working on – but I’ve been sworn to secrecy until OnStage when I present or April 9th to post here on my blog.  All I can say, is this suite really is amazing.  It’s fresh, clean, wonderful, amazing, and perfect for all of our needs.
