Annual Catalog 2018 - 2019

When one door closes…

When one door closes, the most amazing doors open; just walk through!  I’m in a season of change and as much as I want to give you all the details, I just can’t yet.  But what I can tell you is that after 13 1/2 years, I am now choosing happiness and creating a life that my family deserves to have.

I’ll be making changes in my business over the next several months.  As the changes happen, I’ll be sharing them all with you.  The most exciting change is that I will be offering more class, workshops and camps!  I am working on scheduling now – but I do have two classes already scheduled.

With our Fun and Creative Class there is a small change in the class.  We will now be making 4 cards (2 each of 2 designs) with a supply fee of $10 or free with a $25 order.   The main reason for this change is to give everyone a little more space to spread out in our current space.

Speaking of crafting space – that’s the other exciting news I have to share.  I am in the process of looking at studio space!  That’s right a craft studio outside of the home.  I have several that I will be looking at over the next week or so and hope to have a new home soon.  See, when one door closes – a new much better creative and fun door will open.

I’ll also be starting to hold a “product based” class.  This means that the class will center around specific product.  The fee was be based on the product (which you will use in class and take home!) and I will provide additional supplies for you to complete the projects.

I’m excited to keep you posted as to all the changes that will be made to my business in the coming weeks.  Honestly, I don’t know how it will all work – I know I have a vision – I know I have support – I have faith that this will happen.

Annual Catalog 2018 - 2019, OnStage, Swaps

Over the Top OnStage Swap

I signed up for an organized swap called Over the Top. The goal was to use a fancy fold or technique. I chose to use the Garage Gears suite and focus on a masculine card. I have a real love hate relationship with swaps. I hate the preparations of a swap. What am I going to make, will anyone want it, and if its an organized swap – did I meet the requirements. I made ten of these cards. I really don2 think they are that over the top. I think they show case a simple fun fold that can be easily taught in a card class. I also thought it showcased several different layers of texture.

I can’t wait to share with all the swaps, I get during OnStage. I’ll share those with you over the next few weeks.

March Team Cards

At the beginning of every month, I **try** to send a card to team members and add a little something to the card just so they know I appreciate **EVERYTHING* they do to support my business.

This was the card, I sent out at the beginning of April for March.  I included a sheet of Gingham Gala Sequins.  I used my two current favorite items – Happiness Blooms DSP and Incredible Like You stamp set.    I love how the small piece of vellum really softens the dark colors of this card.  I’ve actually made several different versions of this card.  I’ll share them over the next few weeks.

Thank you for your support!

Recently Princess #3, Jackie took part a fundraising event for The Hearing Improvement Kids Endowment Fund – otherwise, known as H.I.K.E.  She personally raised $335 and as a state we raised $3838 to help provide grants of up to $5000 to provide assistive hearing devices for children up tp ages 18.

Jackie spent some time today making and writing thank you notes to those who supported her with a donation.  The cards were #SimpleStamping – there was NO stamping!  She printed the H.I.K.E. logo on Whisper White Cardstock and use scrapes of purple shades of DSP on a Highland Heather card base.

I’m proud of Jackie and Washington Job’s Daughters for their amazing support of H.I.K.E. If you know of a child who could benefit from a H.I.K.E. grant please visit the H.I.K.E. website and apply!

Storage by Stampin’ Up!

Today is the day! The release of the much anticipated Storage by Stampin’ Up! I am really excited to have this join me in my craft room! As a leader I was able to see a sneak peak of the entire Storage by Stampin’ Up! Symptom. For me personally this will be a game changer. I have very limited space on my desk and in my craft loft. They availability to configure the system to my needs is going to be amazing!

I’ll admit that I was so exited, I stayed up until Midnight mountain time in order to order the sets that I wanted! Which must by why I slept until 9:00 am this morning. I’ll share photos of my system when I get it later in the week.

How about this, because I know that you willl love it just as much as I do! For every $30 in Storage by Stampin’ Up! Using the April VIP Code XWU74KVQ I’ll send you a FREE LID of your choice. You have two options to chose from a solid top or a container style like you see above. I know you will love these options as much as I do.

2019 Sale-A-Bration, Annual Catalog 2018 - 2019, Blessed Stampers

Welcome to the Blessed Stampers!

We still have two days of Sale-A-Bration!  I can’t believe we are coming to the end.  I’ve had three new team members join the Blessed Stampers team in March – which means time to create some welcome to the team cards.  I love the Botanical Blooms paper that is only available during SAB.  One of the things that I have been working on is using the Designer Series Paper that I buy.  It’s just so pretty that, I have to hoard it!  These cards really are #SimpleStamping

I used card bases that match the colors in the paper and stamped a coordinating image on the card base with the same color for a monochromatic look.  A scrap of white and used the new rectangle stitched framelits and the scrap of DSP.  I just tied a simple bow in Whisper White bakers twine and attached it with a glue dot.

We would love to have you a part of the Blessed Stampers team!  We are spread out all over the United States.  If you’d like to take advantage of the additional product credit now is the time to do it!  $50 more of additional product of YOUR CHOICE!   There is ABSOLUTLY NO obligation to ever purchase again.  If you’d like to take a look a the details you can visit my team link here.

Thanks For Your Friendship

Our family is still waste deep in this season.  It’s pretty tiring, pretty lonely, pretty aggravating, pretty much pure poop if you ask me.  Over  the last several weeks there is no way that I could have made it through without the help of my Tribe.   My two favorite parts of this card is the Buffalo Check background stamp and the Bermuda Bay Stampin Blends in the rooster tail of the Home to Roost set.

Sale-A-Bration is winding down in just a few short days.  Don’t forget to grab your favorites now before it’s to late.  As I’ve been placing orders for my customers I am finding that many products are running on low stock with our annual catalog quickly coming to an end.  So, take advantage of getting some of your favorites and getting FREE goodies.

You are Wonderful Swaps

Been working on swaps for an upcoming Stampin’ Up! event.  I love to participate in swaps.  It’s a great way to get new ideas and cards to share!  I have to admit, I was struggling with these cards.  I actually came up with the layout as cards to be able to put together while at the hospital.

I used scraps from  Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paper and Rooted in Nature stamp set.  To finish it off I used Copper Metallic Thread behind the punch.  There it is a #Simple Stamping carding.

Wishing You Well

Lasting Lily really is my most favorite set from this years Sale-A-Bration selections.  I loved that I was able to dress this card up with some Petal Pink/Whisper White Variegated Ribbon and the Rectangled Stitched Framelits.  I love the vellum print in the Floral Romance Specialty Designer Series Paper too.

This card is pretty easy to sit down and mass produce so that you have several on hand!
